City of Dubuque works with marinas while attempting to keep Peosta Channel clear
When "Catfish" Charlie Cretsinger first opened his riverside restaurant on Dubuque's Chaplain Schmitt Island and docked the American Lady in the harbor in 2006, the passage out to the Peosta Channel was a full fathom deep, he said.
